The CAT marketer

 Genesis 1:24-25

King James Version

24 And God said,

Let the earth bring forth

the living creature after his kind,

cattle, and creeping thing,

and beast of the earth after his kind:

and it was so.

25 And God made the beast of the earth

after his kind,

and cattle after their kind,

and every thing that creepeth

upon the earth after his kind:

and God saw that it was good.

You're on this site because you like cats.

Either that, or you're a hip marketer.

One who looks for cool, new, exciting sites.

What could be more yawn-proof than cat sites?

I'm sure you have your favorite animal site.

Thing is, we happen to like cats, too.

SPIRIT also led us to another animal.

But that's for a future post.

For now, we stick to these THREE cat sites:

SMART marketers

Ever been to the U.S.?

Boy, have they got two very smart marketers there!

I mean, for a dollar, you can already buy something.

What more if you've got two dollars, or five dollars, whooo!

And they've got lots to choose from.

It's a child's dream!

And if you're on a budget, your money will go a long way.

If you're a kid, your eyes will pop out from lots of food, colors, toys, crafts, supplies -- all kinds of stuff!

These are the shops I got to know, and enjoy!

Dollar Tree

99 Cents Only

Do you have such a cool concept in your country, too?

Of course, it's been many years since I was last there, so I don't really know how the stores have changed.

Hopefully, they haven't, especially in these crazy times.

I merely wanted to share their simple concept with you, making it easy for people to choose, and buy.

While there, I also got to check out some Mexican stores, and they've got good deals, too!

I'm sure God likes these marketers.

They've got heart.

They've simplified marketing.

We kids like that.

If you're in marketing, make your stuff people and pocket-friendly.

You watch, people are gonna buy.

Note: Of course, buy only what you need. Otherwise, you'll get swamped by stuff.

GOD simplified

JESUS said:

Matthew 18:3

King James Version

3 And said,

Verily I say unto you,

Except ye be converted,

and become as little children,

ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Is it really possible to simplify knowledge about GOD?

Oh yes, if you have the heart of a kid.

Kids have an edge.

We're simpler in thinking.

Maybe even purer in thought.

We understand the Bible more.

We don't have "emotional" baggage.

Our thinking's fresh.

Never jaded.

We just take GOD's WORD for it.

One word from the LORD, and we can get it.

When the LORD speaks, ah, we're all eyes, and ears.

We're transfixed by GOD's stories.

But what does marketing have to do with God?

Maybe, it's better to ask, what does God have to do with marketing?

The day He changed my heart, He changed my thinking, too.

That means, my work as writer, marketer, and designer was transformed.

Now, it's ALL GOD.

All my brain cells breathe of God.

My heart cells speak of God.

JESUS knows I like the simple way.

So this morning, He gave me a dream.

From that dream, He led me to an image.

From that image, an idea clicked.

Now, we can PRINT pages from that website.

We can COLOR pages on God.

We can also DOWNLOAD pdf files, for easy reading.

A FUN, and EASY way of knowing more about GOD!

Surely, this is God's "form" of marketing.

To simplify Bible study for everyone.

Who sez studying the Bible is boring?

Nope.

Cool adults, with kid hearts, created that website.

Childlike adults will appreciate the site.

For it has TONS of treasures!

Now, everyone can get to know GOD the easy way.

But I won't keep you longer.

Go to ministry-to-children now!

You will HAVE fun!

Marketing people are FUNNY

Yup, marketing people are funny.

They track you all the time.

They want to know where you live, what you do, what car you drive, who your friends are, what food you eat, what clothes you wear, what toothpaste you use, what soda you drink, what phone you use, what computer you're using, what operating system you have, etc etc etc.

Makes you feel like an ant.

Under a high-powered microscope.

Some days, I wonder if there are CCTVs in public toilets.

Seems every street corner and establishment has one.

I don't know, but we kids aren't neurotic.

We are not obsessed with figuring out others.

That's too "sophisticated", that's for adults.

We have simple, happy, uncorrupted brains.

We just play, and mind our own business.

We don't worry, nor care, what designer brand our playmates wear.

We only care we get along.

And please, don't grab my toy -- you've got yours.

We only care to eat, play, or sleep.

Or be loved by our folks.

We pray to God directly.

We have no hesitation in doing so.

And yes, we have a DIRECT line to Him.

Adults need call centers.

They need gurus.

We're not nuts about school.

Unless we have cool playmates.

It's a weird one who wants to go beyond basic math.

Adults shove gadgets in our hands.

Keeps us quiet, they say.

Gadgets are the new pacifiers.

Of course, our growing brains marvel at all those moving, talking pictures.

We find, that we can  actually "eliminate" enemies from those games.

After a while, we get hooked on those gadgets.

And mommy can't seem to pry us away from her phone.

Now, look who's bawling.

But, duh, who gave us those gadgets in the first place?

We kids don't go crazy checking each other out.

The sun's out, the grass is green, the trees are heavenly, the animals are scampering, and we just lie down on the grass, tie a string on beetles' legs, or climb those trees.

We don't think of brands, or products.

Or retirement, or school.

If something's colorful, we get intrigued.

If something smells great, we want it.

If something's itchy, we take it off.

If something tastes good, we eat it all.

If something's scary, we run from it.

If we're tired, we sleep.

How can we not be that predictable?

We have our own, little, peaceful world.

Where everything seems right.

Until we grow up.

Then, we become even more fair game for marketers.

Who won't stop till they've got us figured out.

Of course, they got off course.

Suffering from temporary amnesia, and all that.

Forgetting they were kids once, too.

And wanted to be left alone.

But adults forget.

They want to track things all the time.

They call it marketing "intelligence".

Some days I wonder.

A fun, happy site

Kids like happy sites.

We like fun images like that funny kid that dances, waves his arms up and down, tiptoes, or hides when you watch an ad for at least 14 seconds.

He makes watching ads real fun!

And he kinda looks like us.

Also, move your mouse around in circles on this site and see how it leaves a trail of colorful "dust" everywhere you go.

Magic and really fun!

I almost forgot I had to put in my ads hahaha.

Grown-ups must really create more sites like that.

Marketing is hard enough.

It must be fun, too!

We kids want to remain kids.

So I joined this fun site!

Hope, you join me, too!

A CHRISTMAS greeting from marketing like a five-year-old

Luke 2:7
King James Version
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son,
and wrapped him in swaddling clothes,
and laid him in a manger;
because there was no room for them in the inn.

I'll keep this CHRISTMAS greeting short and sweet.

Marketing Like a Five-Year-Old wishes you all more of baby JESUS in your heart!

May you and your loved ones, continue to be inspired by the SAVIOR.

Last of all, thank you for making time to be here, and for reading my posts, sharing with you cool ideas in writing, marketing, and living I know.

Given that I'm but a five-year-old.

GOD bless you all!

The incredible Jack-Jack

I don't watch movies too often but I was hoping to catch this on cable.

Finally, I got to see Jack-Jack of "Incredibles 2" yesterday -- the infant with 17 super powers.

Here's a video showing the little one's super powers.

That's how movies ought to be, or at least for five-year-olds like me who like funny stuff.

We don't like too much talk, too much drama, too much violence, but we like ACTION -- the Jack-Jack way!

He really saved the film.

I loved hearing his laughter, watching his face change, and watching him morph into other characters.

I also love how a cookie would make him cool down when he gets really mad.

I was tickled, too, when I saw him "chomping" on an enemy's leg or how he fought with the raccoon as shown here:

He also gets his super outfit after his Aunt Edna "studies" his super powers. Here's a cool video that shows all that:

She's not an easy person to please but with sweet, innocent Jack-Jack, her heart melted.

That's how I consider babies to be.

Lots of moods and personalities.

Sometimes charming, sometimes impossible.

But always incredible!

Now you understand why I stopped counting at age five.

Adults "lose" their super powers.

Coz they get too serious and forget to laugh and play.

Be like Jack-Jack and watch your world transform.

Honest.

Please rent this abandoned ship

Please rent this cute site, "Ship Mails".

I don't know why her captain abandoned her.

I knew she had an owner before.

Well, I hope you rent her.

I mean, she's just $29 yearly.

She's such a beauty I hopped on board.

Oh yes, we five-year-old marketers are the first to jump aboard when we like something.

Even as you have not rented her yet, I jumped in already.

I suppose you can call me a "stowaway"?

Well, you've got me on board, how about it?

And no, I don't earn from your renting this pretty site with the cool ship.

I just like the picture.

And I know you will be happy with this site if you like five-year-olds like us.

What would you rather have?

A boatload of us with such happy, excited faces?

Or a boatload of long faces?

I hope you have some candy on-board.

How to think like a five-year-old

A strange thing happened today.

I wanted to start a blog called, "Marketing like a five-year-old".

Of course, I knew I had to research if such a name exists.

Close.

There was a book called, "Think Like a 5-Year-Old" by Len Wilson.

The nice thing is that the book spoke exactly about what I thought, too.

Now, I know we are not crazy five-year-olds.

Even so, if we were, we couldn't care much.

Everyone considers five-year-olds weird anyway.

We seem to be in our own world a lot, that's why.

Well, now there's a book published in 2 June 2015 that agrees with who we are and what you can be, too.

If you like five-year-olds or want to be one, well, I hope you get a copy of that one, too.

That would mean more candy money for us.

Please, please, please??!!

Why we're not crazy about school

I guess you can blame Grampa Einstein.

He's supposed to be the brainiest but even he wasn't crazy about school.

Why else did he say,

"Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school."

You see that?

Why do you make us go to school?

Why can't we remain the five-year-olds that we are?

Did you know that some wise people said that until the age of five, kids are okay?

After that and they go to school, they become "adult"-erated.

No wonder we have such long faces sometimes.

These wise people said our energies were pure until age five.

And that we were super-creative then.

No wonder Grandpa Einstein was not hot about school.

It seems he wants us to forget school?

Aha!

That's fun!

So why do we have to do complicated marketing?

Can't we just sell something we don't like so we can buy something we like?

Five-year-olds do that all the time.

Sly ones.

How about you, adults?

Do you also sell something you don't like, so you can buy something you like?

I think you do.

Sly ones.

The shortest and simplest book on writing

I knew I had to write a book.

They said you have to write a book that you want to read.

Well, that gave me the idea.

I decided to write the shortest and simplest book on writing. I called it, "Just Write Will Ya".

Plus, we five-year-olds really think, write, and speak simply.

We may have huge imaginations but when we want something, we just say it like it is.

Also, we don't want to be boring.

Five-year-olds are never boring.

And if you write a short and very easy to understand book, people may just buy.

Maybe.

So I wrote a short book.

I wrote it fast so I can play afterwards.

I hope you learn something from my book.

Sometimes, adults need a simple book.

It's good you have me.

All proceeds of my book will be for this website and to buy candy.

Yes, yes, yes.

I promise to share my candy.

Especially if you buy a lot of this book.

You see, I am learning a thing or two about marketing.

You're such great teachers!

How to market like a five-year-old

How does one market like a five-year-old?

Well, maybe he doesn't market.

Maybe, he doesn't even know the word.

Maybe, all he knows is buying something he likes, or trading stuff.

It's possible he invented the word "barter".

These willful ones will trade everything but their mom and dog.

I don't know about their cat.

And if their dad's good, maybe they'll keep him.

First instincts, you know.

Either he likes something or someone or he doesn't.

And usually, he likes fun, colorful, interesting stuff.

That's how you can hold a five-year-old's interest.

And if he was a marketer, we bet he'd do the same thing -- make his people create fun, happy stuff.

I've been five-year-old marketer for sometime now because it's who I am.

I can't think otherwise.

I prefer my world in many ways as you will see when you read this blog.

I'll start by showing you stuff I like joining or reading; mailers, surf sites, and admins I like; colors I love; words I like to hear -- which, in effect, becomes my own brand of buying and selling.

And, oh yes, I like colorful sites, bright colors, mismatched stuff, happy sites, simple words, caring people, and funny animals and people.

Five-year-olds are sensitive souls.

We're not hot about fights or competitions.

We like people who care and keep things simple.

We don't like seeing long contracts with such tiny words even ants need glasses to read.

Boring.

One page will do.

Can you do that?

We don't like double-speak.

Wow! That's a BIG word.

Our minds are clear and simple.

May your words be such.

And please, make your marketing ROCK!

Make it happy and colorful and we may just give you a crayon.

We've got loads of creativity, sincerity, and plane loads of imagination.

We like to use the word "play" instead of "work".

We don't like drudgery.

We like fun.

We like happy stuff.

And yes, we especially love simple.
