GOD simplified

JESUS said:

Matthew 18:3

King James Version

3 And said

Verily I say unto you,

Except ye be converted,

and become as little children,

ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Is it really possible to simplify knowledge about GOD?

Oh yes, if you have the heart of a kid.

Kids have an edge.

We're simpler in thinking.

Maybe even purer in thought.

We understand the Bible more.

We don't have "emotional" baggage.

Our thinking's fresh.

Never jaded.

We just take GOD's WORD for it.

One word from the LORD, and we can get it.

When the LORD speaks, ah, we're all eyes, and ears.

We're transfixed by GOD's stories.

But what does marketing have to do with God?

Maybe, it's better to ask, what does God have to do with marketing?

The day He changed my heart, He changed my thinking, too.

That means, my work as writer, marketer, and designer was transformed.

Now, it's ALL GOD.

All my brain cells breathe of God.

My heart cells speak of God.

JESUS knows I like the simple way.

So this morning, He gave me a dream.

From that dream, He led me to an image.

From that image, an idea clicked.

Now, we can PRINT pages from that website.

We can COLOR pages on God.

We can also DOWNLOAD pdf files, for easy reading.

A FUN, and EASY way of knowing more about GOD!

Surely, this is God's "form" of marketing.

To simplify Bible study for everyone.

Who sez studying the Bible is boring?

Nope.

Cool adults, with kid hearts, created that website.

Childlike adults will appreciate the site.

For it has TONS of treasures!

Now, everyone can get to know GOD the easy way.

But I won't keep you longer.

Go to ministry-to-children now!

You will HAVE fun!

Marketing people are FUNNY

Yup, marketing people are funny.

They track you all the time.

They want to know where you live, what you do, what car you drive, who your friends are, what food you eat, what clothes you wear, what toothpaste you use, what soda you drink, what phone you use, what computer you're using, what operating system you have, etc etc etc.

Makes you feel like an ant.

Under a high-powered microscope.

Some days, I wonder if there are CCTVs in public toilets.

Seems every street corner and establishment has one.

I don't know, but we kids aren't neurotic.

We are not obsessed with figuring out others.

That's too "sophisticated", that's for adults.

We have simple, happy, uncorrupted brains.

We just play, and mind our own business.

We don't worry, nor care, what designer brand our playmates wear.

We only care we get along.

And please, don't grab my toy -- you've got yours.

We only care to eat, play, or sleep.

Or be loved by our folks.

We pray to God directly.

We have no hesitation in doing so.

And yes, we have a DIRECT line to Him.

Adults need call centers.

They need gurus.

We're not nuts about school.

Unless we have cool playmates.

It's a weird one who wants to go beyond basic math.

Adults shove gadgets in our hands.

Keeps us quiet, they say.

Gadgets are the new pacifiers.

Of course, our growing brains marvel at all those moving, talking pictures.

We find, that we can  actually "eliminate" enemies from those games.

After a while, we get hooked on those gadgets.

And mommy can't seem to pry us away from her phone.

Now, look who's bawling.

But, duh, who gave us those gadgets in the first place?

We kids don't go crazy checking each other out.

The sun's out, the grass is green, the trees are heavenly, the animals are scampering, and we just lie down on the grass, tie a string on beetles' legs, or climb those trees.

We don't think of brands, or products.

Or retirement, or school.

If something's colorful, we get intrigued.

If something smells great, we want it.

If something's itchy, we take it off.

If something tastes good, we eat it all.

If something's scary, we run from it.

If we're tired, we sleep.

How can we not be that predictable?

We have our own, little, peaceful world.

Where everything seems right.

Until we grow up.

Then, we become even more fair game for marketers.

Who won't stop till they've got us figured out.

Of course, they got off course.

Suffering from temporary amnesia, and all that.

Forgetting they were kids once, too.

And wanted to be left alone.

But adults forget.

They want to track things all the time.

They call it marketing "intelligence".

Some days I wonder.
